258 veterinary centres across 41 towns in Alicante province, taken from the official register (Colegio Oficial de Veterinarios de Alicante, buscador de centros veterinarios) on 21 September 2026.

Vaccines, the microchip, the pet passport, and whatever goes wrong on a Sunday. In the Valencian Community the rabies vaccine is compulsory for dogs, cats and ferrets, and the vet records it, with the microchip, in RIVIA, the regional pet register. If your animal arrives from abroad, the first visit is usually about getting it into that register.

Every centre on this page appears in the public search of veterinary centres run by the Colegio Oficial de Veterinarios de Alicante, the professional body every practising vet in the province belongs to. Where a centre lists its services with the colegio (small animals, exotic pets, imaging, laboratory), we show them. Centres named after a person are left out: we list establishments, not people. The colegio does not record which languages are spoken, so neither do we.
